Fix Rolling Shutter and Stabilize Frames, Zoom in Less While You Work

"Simply stated, Mercalli V2 Pro is much more powerful and efficient than any other stabilization plug-in on the market."

Resolution. Resolution. We hear this mantra constantly as shooters demand larger and larger imagers with more and more resolution. Never mind the compression artifacts, the rolling shutter morass and umpteen storage challenges associated with the mammoth data load. When shooters go shopping these days for a camera, many seem interested in only two things: imager size — the larger the better; and pixel count — more is better, right?  It's a fad, of course, and it will pass. But for the moment we are living it — and have to deal with it. read more

Never written a testimonial before

Never written a testimonial before but I just have to say, as a full time user of after effects for video clip production, that Mercali is by far the best stabilization solution I have ever used. It has enabled me to resurrect shots which had been put away as impossible to fix. I am constantly amazed at the range of movements it can handle. A truly amazing product!

I have been using the Mercalli plugin from proDad since it was introduced, and I have had great success with it. The fact that I could use it as a plugin with my NLE made it very convenient to use, and it worked great.

I have used both Mercalli and Virtual Dub, but I have always felt that Mercalli gave me a slightly better final result.  Of course that may be subjective on my part, but there are a few others that agree. This past year I decided to go total 64bit and not bother installing the 32bit NLE. As a result I needed to update to Mercalli V2 Pro which comes in 32bit and 64bit versions.  proDad has done a great job provide several versions of the Pro stabilizer for the cost of the upgrade (32bit, 64bit and a Stand Alone Version).

Praxistest proDAD Mercalli 2.0

Review Pro Video Coalition

The quality of jitter-correction Mercalli provides is really astounding. If you have any need at all to clean up shaky footage, the $249 list price of Mercalli is a bargain.

The initial impression I have from the Mercalli utility using it in Studio-14 was quite impressive. I hope to keep using it for a long time.

"First, let me say that Mercalli Version 2 is nothing short of miraculous! Once I did some experimenting, as suggested, and found the settings that worked for me in this particular situation, it was a dream come true."
